Sierra Saturday Art Hop - August 11th 2007 - 11AM to 5PM
Featured Artists - Richard Moore and Adrian Castelo
Richard and Adrian will be raku firing at Williams gallery all day on Saturday. Come join us and experience the time honored dance with earth, air, fire, and water!
Ceramicist Richard Moore first tried his hand with clay during a local art museum’s summer art program. Since that time he has known he wanted to be an artist.
As a professional DJ, he has learned to control an audience by moving them
with music, and he has turned this experience toward the physically
visible medium of clay. Over the last five years he has focused on pit
fire, raku, and sagger fire techniques. He is a talented potter, and
a wizard on the potter's wheel, with a personal touch that makes each of
his pots unique.
