Select Paintings by William Bock, Carmen Washington, and Mark Henson

Having never instrumented an event in Cyberspace before, I was nervous about the opening.  Jupytr assured me there was nothing to worry about….she would handle everything.  But what about the invitations!…and hanging the show? What about matting and framing?  Who was going to pick up the refreshments?!!!   Well…in cyberspace everyone brings their own refreshments, and the pictures hang by themselves…so things went off without a hitch!

Three artists were featured, and the work was exciting and diverse.  Attendance was better than I expected.  15 or so avatars came by for a look, and everyone seemed to be feeling lively.   We looked at art and we danced.  We drank ouzo and mingled with the crowd.  William and I engaged in a round of Borg Avatar kung-fu fighting.  Two of the three featured artists attended; writer, dancer, and artist Carmen Washington, and painter/gallery owner William Bock.  Other Williams Gallery attendees included curator Mary Lou Bock, and yours truly, PussNBoots.

Jupytr showed up early in an imperial droid avatar to update the exhibition gallery announcements and to hang the show.  She was tired from building her new world, but did a great job, and as usual, was a delightful host.

William  came escorting Willaims Gallery curator, Mark Lou Bock, and wore Raybans to enhance his artistic coolness.

Yoishy came early and stayed late.  Early in the evening he dressed in conservative grey, but as the evening wore on he transformed into a cartoon monkey.

Puss tried to take a group photo, but it proved more challenging than trying to get a Jr. High graduating class to pose for their yearbook photo.  William was changing diapers or something and didn't notice we were posing until too late.  Jupytr and Carmen wandered off as soon as the camera went "click", and this was the best we could do...well...maybe next time!

The party was winding down, and a few of us decided to head across AW to Jupytr's new hangout NSideOut.  Jupytr's new world includes a gallery of her work, a Holocaust memorial garden, a reconstruction of the town square in Warsaw Poland, a night club, and Dementia, a bubbliscious psycholdelic cavern.
