Williams Gallery West in Activeworlds

Our virtual gallery space consists of a rambling compound in Alpha World, the premiere free building world in Activeworlds.  The compound consists of a group of gallery structures built to house our various collections, nestled in a park-like setting  interconnected by courtyards, sculpture gardens, and scenic landscaped areas.  The main gallery is located at teleport coordinates AW 550N 142E.  CLICK HERE for instructions on loading the Activeworlds browser and joining us in cyberspace. 

MAIN GALLERY

Our main gallery is the hub of Williams Gallery activity in Activeworlds.  The gallery features  news and announcements of upcoming events, teleport links to our other gallery spaces in Activeworlds, and links to major sections of our web site.  

Photo Gallery 

The photo gallery is a space built to house and display the best in contemporary photography. It is the location for our upcoming show VIRTUAL PHOTOGRAPHY coming in July.

Galwest Australia

Galwest Australia houses our collection of Australian Fine Art, Folk Art, and Photography.  The architecture was inspired by the aboriginal calendar, and the unique seasons of Northern Australia known as "The Wet" and "The Dry".

Galwest Mexico

Galwest Mexico was built to house our collection of Mexican Folk Art and related material.  The architecture is inspired by Pre-Columbian Mayan Pyramid designs.

The Store in @Mart

One of the features offered to Activeworlds citizens is a storefront in @Mart, Activeworlds' proof of concept virtual shopping mall.  Our storefront in @mart provides links to our on-line inventory.

The Non-Profit Gallery 

The non-profit gallery houses links to non-profit organizations endorsed by Williams Gallery West.  The gallery offers opportunities to donate to charity through purchases made from the gallery.

Galwest Bali 

Galwest Bali houses our collection of Balinese Fine Art, Folk Art, and Photography.  The architecture was inspired by a long established building tradition for homes, palaces, and temples on the Indonesian island of Bali.

Galwest Thailand was built to house our collection of Thai Fine Art, Folk Art, and Photography.  The architecture was inspired by the layout of a Thai Buddhist temple complex.
