Whispering Water
Whispering water depicts a Navajo woman with her water jug slung over her shoulder, carrying water for her family. The piece is alive with fine detail. Her robe falls gently over her form. Her hair is tied up in a traditional style, and decorated with a beautifully rendered double ribbon cascading down her back. A small olla sits on a stump by her side.
