| Hiawatha in eagle feather headdress. Beautifully executed in a loose freehand style. Headdress is rendered in bold black ink with colored details on head band. Hiawatha stares nobly into the distance, perhaps having a vision, or waiting for the arrival of the Black-Robe strangers that signal the ending of the epic poem. | |
