Louise August works in many media including serigraphy, woodblock printing, mural painting, and oils. She is an accomplished illustrator of children's books including "The Way Meat Loves Salt", "Milk and Honey", and "Why on this Night?".   Her work is included in the collections of Yale University, Princeton University Museum of Fine Art, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and many other prestigious organizations.
