This jug head vessel was created by Elizabeth for her art students as an example of Appalachian style head jugs. The multi-colored glazing is wonderfully done.  The white glaze used on the eyes is translucent, giving them an intense life-like quality.  The wild expression and simple style of the face are clearly Elizabeth's work.
