A powerful female figure carved from a sensuous manzanita branch. She turns, looking off to one side, as if sensing some danger in the forest around her. The figure's gesture follows the natural form of the twisted wood.  

Like many of Calvin's carvings, her strong features and long flowing hair are inspired by his wife Loretta.
