SOLD Early 20th Century Gbaya African Throwing Knife - Camaroon Circa 1900 Distinctive question mark or sickle shaped blade from the Gbaya tribe of Central Africa. Wrapped twine handle. Beveled edge blade with medial ridge. Skull piercing spike. Similar in form to the infamous Ngala Executioner's Sword. Total length 25 inches - Blade width approx. 1 3/4 inches
Handle is solid with some minor fraying from age. Blade is in excellent condition, still sharp, showing minor corrosion from age. |
