Carved Mexican obsidian figurine with large headdress!  Beautiful Gold Sheen obsidian shimmers with nice marbling and a golden glow when turned in the light.   This fearsome fellow is influenced by Mescala style Pre-Columbian figures.  Similar figures can be found at tourist sites throughout Mexico, like the ruins of Teotihuacan outside Mexico City.  This figure is a gift shop item from Skipper Kent's restaurant in Kona Hawaii.
