This  prairie green pitcher is from the "Wagon Wheel" line, introduced in 1942 and discontinued in 1988.  The Ada clay and early mark dates the teapot to the mid to late 1940s.  The wagon wheel pattern, like many of Frankoma's designs, was influenced by the romance of the American West, and gave tribute to the pioneers, farmers, and wagon trains that shaped the history of the country.
