This girl waits patiently for her photo with a peaceful expression.  She is dressed in a sailor style blouse, long skirt, and hair ribbon.  As in many of the photos of the time, the subject is not smiling.  Photography was new and still relatively rare.  The attitude was to pose with a serious expression, appropriate to the importance of the occasion.
