This "Magpie" brand label is another excellent example of animal imagery in produce advertising.  The simple design relies on the exotic image of the California Magpie to catch the viewer's attention and make the brand memorable.  The font design is worth mentioning as well, as it reflects the beginning of the jet age, when everything from toasters to automobiles was being streamlined by aerodynamic design.
