Taxco sterling silver bracelet with floral design and large brilliant cut yellow Topaz. 

 Stone is very large, 13/16 inches ( 20mm ) in diameter, approx 15 carat, with excellent color.  Bracelet is well crafted and heavy, formed from 6 intertwining silver rods.  Setting is surrounded by three layers of silver "petals" accenting the central stone.

Purchased in Taxco Mexico in 1959, seller noted as "Aleman"

Stamped maker's mark JAV, two other stamps read "Taxco 925" and "Sterling 925 ".

band diameter side-to-side 2 3/8", width across top 2 1/4"

excellent condition with typical oxidation from age.

  We do not clean our vintage silver pieces, in order not to alter the patina.   We leave the decision to clean or polish up to the buyer.
