"Dressing" depicts a partially nude woman dressing next to a simple bunk.  The piece is a good example of a Putt bordello nude, a recurring theme in his work. The subject is captured with a look of concentration, preparing to don her blouse, probably after an intimate encounter with a cowboy or rancher. Lovely color and detail.
