"Watchman" depicts a cowboy on guard over a heard of Longhorns.  His pose is tense and watchful, as though reacting to an unexpected sound in the night, or a show moving through the sagebrush. Rifle in hand, he pumps a round into the chamber, preparing to defend his cattle.  

Unlike many artist enhanced giclees, this image is heavily enhanced, painted overall in oil.  Many details have been added, including the heard of cattle, which is not present in the original painting.
