Collected in Mexico in 1965.

Nicely carved, dark green jade or greenstone Olmec style seated figure with puffy eyes, ear plug holes, and pronounced lips.  Skipper's ledger indicates this piece was purchased in Taxco from artist Carl Pappe.  Whether the piece is a reproduction carved by the artist, or from the artist's private collection in unknown.
