One of many commemorative trivets special ordered from Frankoma.  Limited editions of Frankoma pottery, particularly trivets, were purchased by churches, businesses, colleges, and other organizations to celebrate anniversaries, meritorious service, and other special events.  The front is embossed with; " Bacone College, Muskogee, Oklahoma, A Significant History, 1880 - 1980".  The central design features 2 Indian chiefs in ceremonial feather headress facing out ward from a burning torch.   The back is stamped with the FRANKOMA logo.
