Brown leather and paper bound hardcover with gold embossing. Steel plate engraving frontispiece of author.  Book is in good condition with moderate shelf wear. Binding is solid with some scuffing.  Four pages near front with dark stain along very bottom edge. Pages are clean with very minor age yellowing.  Signed by owner "Mr. Frank Howard Rayne, Berkeley, CA" inside front cover.  No dust jacket.  

Remington Photogravures include many poignant and well researched Native American images from the story including Indian braves, hunting scenes, runners, canoes, chiefs smoking piece pipes, and mythological characters.
