Amethyst Boy

Very good condition.  

Antique Chinese carved amethyst figure of a young man or boy carrying bundle of leaves with a single bud or fruit.  Head is shaved with a jaunty topknot. Figure is wearing a long robe with decorative front and collar, and baggy pants that nearly cover his feet. Realistic rendering with robes full of motion.  Possibly a priest, young nobleman, or immortal. Figure is glued to the hardwood base.
