Two Figures joined by Chain

Collected circa 1980

 Two side by side figures linked at the head by a carved wooden chain. Possibly Yoruba.  Figures are kneeling wearing long dresses, and holding an object at waist level.  Elongated features with large forehead, pointed chin, and realistic features. Nicely carved from dark ebony hardwood.  One figure is slightly larger than the other. Probably a wedding fetish symbolizing the couple joined in body and spirit.
